OpenEx TGE set to take a duration of 15 days as community tension rises. According to a recent post by OpenEx, the $OEX Token Generation Event (TGE) will start on September 25 and conclude on October 10 with token claim on October 15. Let’s take a look at the TGE event as proposed by OpenEx.

OpenEx TGE Preparations

1. Airdrop Reward Confirmation: Users will have the opportunity to confirm and lock their airdrop rewards within the OEX App. To ensure a smooth process, we recommend avoiding peak times during the confirmation period.
2. Email Address Correction: For users with incorrect email bindings, a review and correction process will be available to allow for email updates and subsequent reward confirmation.
3. Private Key Recovery: Users who have lost their private keys will be able to initiate a recovery process through email verification, enabling them to modify their addresses for reward withdrawal.

Pre and Post TGE Activities

1. Token Vesting: Tokens allocated to early contributors, the team, and other token holders will be subject to a lock-up period, followed by a linear unlocking schedule.
2. Staking Rewards: Tokens designated for staking rewards will be transferred to the relevant smart contracts and released according to the staking reward schedule.
3. Staking Contract Launch: The staking contracts will be activated, and the first phase of staking rewards will be distributed.
4. On-Chain Withdrawals and Listings: Users will be able to transfer airdropped tokens and trade on-chain after the completion of the listing process. This will occur on the 15th of October 2024.
